Nvidia is about to make digital Art Easier

Updated: Apr 11, 2019

Nvidia's new technology using neural network, makes digital Art extremely rudimentary with A deep learning model developed by NVIDIA Research which turns rough doodles into highly realistic scenes using generative adversarial networks (GANs). The tool is like a smart paintbrush, converting segmentation maps into lifelike images

Why is this important?

This is a highly disruptive technology for concept Art especially in the production of movies and video games.

Currently Highly skilled and talented Artists are required to visualize the ideas of a creative director in Pre-production, but with this, anyone with the most basic and rudimentary skill level could easily create a realistic visualization of a landscape for instance, just as demonstrated here in this video

Hopefully, this will further advance the world of creativity by eventually turning an entire production pipeline into a single button. For example: "Hey buddy, I have this great movie idea about a dragon who aspires to become the next K.pop star in South Korea, but is restricted and antagonized by a whale from another planet with aspirations to get Neo the dragon out of the Matrix... Now I'll just push that button"

Tada! New Movie in theaters around the world created, marketed, and distributed by one single push of a button
