Google Stadia's disappointing launch

Google stadia launched as a disappointment to gamers' expectations

But is this the end of the premium online game streaming platform?

The simple answer is 'No'

"Why" you may ask

Stadia's current game library is at the state of Sony Ps4's 2014 library, which was very much underwhelming with launch titles like KillZone 4, Battlefield 4, and the controversial Watch Dog's disappointing launch with issues of downgrade and what not

Many critics are currently bashing the platform due to the failure to deliver on the marketing promises, and also the perceived lack of content and high price tags on the currently available games

IGN didn't spare the platform when it comes to criticism

I do believe however that Stadia is a platform with a very high potential to dent the currrent gaming landscape, considering the technical superiority of the platform

I'm only going to keep speculating that Google Stadia's third party developers are currently working on some flagship and platform defining game titles which would potentially push the platform to it's limit in terms of general performance and graphical output utilizing the over 10 teraflops of GPU memory at their disposal

Here is the current Specification for Stadia:

CPU: Custom 2.7GHz hyper-threaded x86 CPU with AVX2 SIMD and 9.5MB L2+L3 cache.GPU: Custom AMD GPU with HBM2 memory and 56 compute units, capable of 10.7 teraflops.RAM: 16GB of RAM with up to 484GB/s of performance.SSD cloud storage.Minimum 10 Mbps download / 1 Mbps uploa
